2- A Proposal for a New Approach to religion Print

Any new approach toward a religion more acceptable to the man of the third millennium must take into consideration a certain number of facts:
- The old religions -Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Shinto, Taoism, and Confucianism- are there to stay, at least in the foreseeable future. Any attempt to eliminate them is bound to fail.

- None of the followers of these religions should be asked to renounce their faith.
- A large number of people will go on believing in the above religions, their doctrine, and rituals without asking for, and accepting any change. They will also be happy to go on with their clergies as they are, follow their decisions and respect their power.

What some modern men want is to be able to make their own mind without any imposition. This means that they want access to all the available information dealing with religion.
